Things to Keep in Mind Thursday

Invitations

Have you mailed them yet? Still on your to do list? Here is a short overview on when you should have your invitations sent.

Save-the-Date is different from a wedding invitation. This is only a notification to ensure that your guest clear their schedule for your wedding. These should be sent 12 months out.

Wedding Invites should be sent 8 to 12 weeks (2 to 3 months) before the wedding date. Make sure you include an RSVP to ensure a proper headcount.

Wedding Invites with no Save-the-Date announcement should go out in 16 weeks

Destination Wedding Invitations should be sent out 12 to 16 weeks before the wedding. Also, make sure you book a block of rooms for your guest or recommend accommodations.

It’s also a good idea to have a wedding website or even a wedding Facebook page. This helps keep your guest updated.

This is just a guideline don’t feel like you have to be pressured to adhere to the timeline provided.
